Applications for employment at the Mesquite Regional Landfill are not being accepted at this time.
The Sanitation Districts plan to start a small operation at the Mesquite Regional Landfill near the end of 2009 or early 2010. It is anticipated the landfill will employ only a few full-time staff at the site during the start-up and the first year of operations.
When operations begin and jobs become available, the Sanitation Districts will be working through the local State of California Employment Development Department (EDD) to fill the positions.
The Sanitation Districts recommend registering and inputting your resume with CalJobs at the El Centro EDD office to access information about all job openings in the state, including Imperial County, and future job openings at the Mesquite Regional Landfill.
